From footprint to handprint and why we need to tell the whole story of sustainability impact
With Lena Lölfing, Sustainability manager at Oatly.
Did you know that enjoying a cup of coffee with Oatly Barista instead of comparable cow’s milk in Sweden has a 64% lower climate impact?* We believe people have the right to know about the climate impact of their food and therefore challenge all food companies to report on their footprint. Yes, even big dairy. We went so far as to offer big dairy corporations a free footprint calculation in the UK and Germany last year – so far, no response. Besides the importance of knowing your product’s climate footprint, we have recently started to look at the actual positive impact a company can have on the planet.
Join this session to learn about Oatly’s handprint aka avoided emissions and how we drive our sustainability ambitions forward.
